Socked in

7:30AM - Socked-in San Diego!
Do you see the pic below?  If you were able to look thru the heavy fog, you would see the Sun shining.  But we are socked-in this morning.  Heavy, wet and drippy fog.

Inside MsTioga, our little Wave-6 Catalytic Heater is keeping us comfortably warm.  I am sipping on a hot chocolate.  Wow!

Can it get any better than this?   Hmmmmmm?

I have not written to you about David for awhile. You may wonder if I think about my departed son. Yes! I do. I think about him a lot. The hurting has dimmed, but it's still there.

On a cold foggy day as this one, a person may think about how they can be either happy or despondent about today. The choice is up to each of us. Is it gloomy out there? Or is the bright Sun just beyond the fog?

But for people on the edge, that choice may be a struggle. For people who do not let others in. Who do not share their inner feelings. A foggy day may bring thoughts of ending their existence.

Yes, I think about David. His ending will always be an unsolved mystery for me.
