8AM - Installing upgrade
This morning Bob is installing the upgrade for my solar panel tilt assembly. You may recall the decision to change the wood parts of the tilt assembly to aluminum. The wood parts deteriorated very fast because MsTioga was doing a lot of camping near the Pacific coast this summer. The moist conditions near the coast made the wood rot fast.

Several weeks ago when I attempted to do the tilt assembly upgrade myself, I found that I did not have the strength or endurance anymore. I am having my 74th birthday this month. A man's got to know his limitations!

4PM - Worked all day!
Bob Parker worked all day on my tilt assembly. Bob worked from 9am to 4pm. Bob's pal Bud helped too. It is a lot of work to drill and tap the many holes needed to connect the solar panels to the new aluminum bars. Also, we needed holes for the hinges that connect the entire assembly to MsTioga's roof. All had to be drilled and tapped.

There is no way that I could have done all of this work by myself.  Not possible! Thank God for the help that I have been given!

At 4pm we went over to Bud & Nancy's RV where we celebrated "Happy Hour". In the pic below you see George, Bud and Bob enjoying themselves.
