Toad or not to toad? "That is the question!"
Since the beginning of our RV adventure in 2003, we have debated with ourselves the question of a toad. (BTW, "toad" is the funny way RVers have of describing a "towed vehicle").

The debate seems to center around the challenge of towing vs the freedom of not towing. And of course, if an RV is used as a car, as we on the TiogaRV Team do, then having our RV home everywhere we go is a definite plus.

This debate arose again at this time, because of us staying at Home Camp. If we had a toad [perhaps in the form of a very small truck], we would be able to toodle around Tequisquiapan leaving MsTioga behind. But would we want to do that?

For us on the TiogaRV Team, this subject remains an unresolved question.

What do you think? Hmmmm?

12 Noon - Hummingbird Moth!
Is there such a thing as a Hummingbird Moth? This moth-like insect kept eating and eating and eating. I got tired of its gorging, and chased it away with the water hose. Weird!
Is this a moth?

8PM - These birds eat a lot!
The hummingbirds that eat at our Sweet Flowers consume about 1-1/2 flowers worth of nectar each day. Isn't that a lot for little birds like these?

The amount of nectar may be due to the quantity of hummers that eat here. Sometimes I see 10 to 20 hummers at one time.
