Below is a pic of El Chaco's Palapas. During the holidays these palapas are a good source of rental income for El Chaco. Each palapa rents for 150 pesos per day [$11.50US].
However, some people drive their vehicles from the beach and park under the palapas instead of entering thru El Chaco's main entrance in order to avoid paying the rental. Yesterday a very big tractor was driven from the rancho to plow up the beach in front of the palapas. It is now almost impossible to cross that plowed beach sand without getting stuck.
10AM - Cultural Center Sunday Fare
Almost every Sunday, the gringo RVers camping at El Chaco drive over to the Sunday Fare [Tianguis] located in nearby Aticama.
This Sunday I will be driving with Bill and Carol to the Sunday Fare. This is an exciting time for us because we get to schmooze with other Gringos attending the Tianguis.
