Mexican auto insurance

11AM - Mexican auto liability insurance
Yesterday evening I renewed my Mexican auto liability insurance policy online. I'm always amazed how well the internet works with financial transactions like this one. The insurance premium was paid with my credit card. As soon as I renewed the policy, the insurance agent, "Adventure Mexican Insurance" provided a PDF file with the complete policy available for printing. Really neat!

I am not sure if it is illegal in Mexico to drive without liability insurance. But if I have an accident in Mexico and do NOT have liability insurance, I may find myself in jail with my vehicle impounded! It cost me $215 for an annual policy. Cheap protection!

Copper Canyon adventure!
On New Years Day, January 1st, 2008, we took the El Chepe railroad train from the Town of El Fuerte in the State of Sinaloa, Mexico up into the mountains to begin our Copper Canyon adventure. This is a fantastic trip!
