Gas station

9AM - The gas station
A gas station is under construction right next to Hacienda Contreras RV Park! Of course owners of the RV Park, Sal and Barbara Contreras, are very disturbed by this development. The construction messes with the peace of this tranquil place.

Huge amounts of earth are being brought to the gas station site in order to raise the level of the sloping land up to the level of the street. Construction equipment is being used to move the earth and pack it down.

I believe that when the earth moving part of the construction is complete, the impact on Hacienda Contreras RV Park will be minimal. Same thing when the gas station is in operation. Impact minimal.

9AM - Market Day
Kevin and Ruth invited me to go with them to the market in Valle de Juarez. When their little blue car arrived at MsTioga to pick me up, there was another RVer there. A nice lady who is RVing alone. In fact, there are two lady RVers at Hacienda Contreras RV Park at this time. And both of them are RVing alone!

I am going to ask permission of these two ladies for an interview. MsTioga and I believe that such a story about courageous ladies who RV alone would be of interest.

PS: The plan was to do the interviews at Happy Hour today. However there was a wedding this afternoon and the two ladies along with a bunch of people camping at Hacienda Contreras went off to that wedding. Maybe tomorrow?

PPS: Changed my mind about the interview thing. Maybe that's not such a good idea.
