I crossed the International Border yesterday afternoon. The border people took my fresh eggs and let me keep my Mexican pork chops.
Camped at the Shadow Ridge RV Park in Ajo, Arizona. Too hot and humid to street camp. Ate good old American meat loaf at Ajo's Marcela's restaurant. Yummm!
Welcome back to the USA George, I'll remember the day you came back as it is my birthday today. Steve

ReplyDeleteHey, George. I see from the hit counter that you have now had over 8 million views of your blog. Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteChecked Google Earth and Weather re Ajo, AZ. High average temps this coming week exceed 100 degrees each day. Nice picture of the rv park and a mural on a wall.
ReplyDeleteNice small town close to Mexican border... seems an ideal spot for your first night back.
Google Earth blocked out the border crossing building. Only showed one government vehicle along side the road.
I suspect they will enjoy the eggs for breakfast.
It looks like a Dairy Queen on the highway that leaves Ajo. Watch the overhangs if you stop.
All the best wishes for you.
George
ReplyDelete619 588 5133 You have been here before. Come on by and park while you decide where you want to set up camp.
