Chill Out - Go With The Flow
What happened was, I let the terrible phone support of the Bank of America and the even worse phone support of Verizon get to me. And I freaked. Not good.
It turns out, that there are some companies that have excellent phone support. Amazon is one. Discover Card is another. Instead of the rash stuff I threatened in that rant of mine, I've decided to "Chill Out & Go With The Flow."
8am - Monday, October 24th
Something really BIG is coming! Something huge! Only 12 days to go!
Man-O-Man!
9am - Clothes hanger bar
Yesterday was our first time in the City of Hesperia. Stumbled across an Orchard Supply Hardware Store.
Bought:
- LED light to brighten up dark stovetop area
- Hanger bar [Not too much clothes storage inside Twayler]
Some clothes on new hanger bar
6:30pm - Progress Report
In addition to the stuff we wrote above, we did more!
After you read this, please let us know if we have we have bragging rights? Hmmmm? 😎
- We got help from Carlos of Tech Support at Bobbie Combs RV Center. For over two weeks, movie DVDs running in our Jenson stereo played sound. However, no video showed on our Jenson TV! Carlos asked me to use an RCA cable to connect with RCA outlets on the wall behind the TV. That connection was not difficult. However, RCA connections to the TV are only visible from underneath. We used Little iPhone to go under the TV and "see" those kind of "hidden" RCA inputs. It worked!!! We now have sound and video!!
- Visibility on the stove's range top is not too good. Only a very tiny light in the hood! We got a battery powered LED light which was supposed to stick in the underside of hood. Didn't stick. And much too dim! Not enough light. This project continues.....
- Miss Twayler's front screen door is being equipped with a magnetic latch. When operational, the screen door will latch on magnetically to the outside door and then latch without help from me. Then, with the screen door's recently added spring closer, both doors will close and latch. Got dark, so this project continues......
Note to Readers: Click on the pic to make bigger. Look at George's left hand. He's holding a camera clicker that works really good!
Do you need a little help with pics? Questions about exporting? Sizing? All that stuff? I'd love to help you.

George, someone once said, "Never make your most important decisions when you are in your worst moods."
ReplyDeleteIt seems that there is much wisdom in that statement.
Hi Scott,
DeleteThat "someone" knew what they were talking about!
Tioga George

George...it's typical of you to make rash decisions. Chill a little before your next move...might have been tent camping now :-) I too sometimes give up too soon but over time I've learned to 'chill' first and make my decision.
ReplyDeleteHi Rita,
ReplyDeleteYes, it is typical of me. I've been working hard on that one, for a very long time!
About camping.... wait for an announcement. Gonna be a BIG one, Rita! Really BIG. Big time BIG!
Tioga George
.
Really BIG would mean you are trading in your trailer for a 43' motorhome. And a much larger tent.
ReplyDeleteHi Hotel,
DeleteYes! That would be really BIG! But not big enough.
That's not it.

Much easier to go with the flow - takes too much effort to fight all the irritating crap.
ReplyDeleteHi Carol and Bill,
DeleteYes, much easier. A real challenge for me!
George
.
I know you so well, George. I knew that was a temporary situation; you were all hot and bothered at the time. Now you got a grip, Much better to just "go with the flow".
ReplyDeleteHi RnR,
DeleteThank you! I am trying 😊
Tioga George
.
Hmmm George, maybe you got an earlier spot in Jobjoba Hills.
ReplyDeleteHi Stephen,
DeleteThat would be HUGE & BIG!
Not it.
Tioga George
.
No, it's the Scamp.
ReplyDeleteHi Bill,
DeleteWow! Do you read minds? 😊
George
.
I thought your Fit wasn't able to pull a Scamp. I remember the driving issues you had with Miss Tioga. This would be as long as her wouldn't it?
ReplyDeleteHi Suz,
DeleteHonda FIT is able to tow Scamp, which weighs about 1,000 pounds.
I'll have to be very careful while towing.

Sometimes we have to rant for a while before we can see the situation more clearly. As my mom used to say, "Don't cut off your nose to spite your face." Old saying, but sometimes I think about that before I make a decision I'll be sorry for when I calm down. Ya know?
ReplyDeleteHi Barbara,
DeleteI am challenged a bit. But. I am working hard on it!

You rock George! Good to win one sometimes!
ReplyDeleteHi Suz,
DeleteI love that "I rock!" 😍

Looks very cozy there in Ms Twayler George!
ReplyDeleteHi Bill,
DeleteYes! Miss Twayler is cozy. And La-Z-Boy recliner is sooooo comfy!
BTW, Bill. Good guess on being the first to know about Scamp!

You're getting Scampy on my birthday, George. Can't wait to see her. Pictures, please.
ReplyDeleteHi Judy,
Delete"Scampy" That is an adorable name.
Happy Birthday!

George Miss Twayler looks mighty nice inside and you look very comfortable.
ReplyDeleteHi Nancy and Joe,
DeleteMiss Twayler is very nice! More space and more comfortable than my Guava Gardens apartment.
