Scamp Visit Day!
There is another reason why we are in the City of Pomona. The big RV show, which opens this morning.
10am - Camping again
Camping must be in my blood! I'm guessing that, many Readers figured:
11am - The big RV show in Pomona
The reason for going to this RV show is to search for RVs that would compare favorably to RVs the size of a 13 foot Scamp.
10am - Camping again
Camping must be in my blood! I'm guessing that, many Readers figured:
- After my accident near Bakersfield
- Destruction of MsTioga
- Open heart surgery
- Move to the senior citizen apartment, Guava Gardens
........... that my RVing days were over forever!
Hmmmmm?
A very good friend suggested that perhaps Tioga George is looking to relive his glory days? To which Tioga George replies: "No doubt about that!"

2pm - Visiting the Scamp in Pomona
I really had a good visit. Very nice Scamp owners shared their Scamp with me! Spent about 1/2 hour in the inside! Love that little trailer!
3pm - What's this?
After walking my legs off at the BIG RV show, then visiting the Scamp, my hunger was BIG!Sooooo, I went to a place and ordered this:

ReplyDeleteI saw on the Bayfield Bunch site where Sue said her blog would be down for a few more days. This was a couple of days ago. She did not seem really down about it. Nice to know she got s ok.

Not this reader...this reader wondered why you moved to apartment? This reader thought you'd buy another RV and travel more. Glad you're exploring your options :-)
ReplyDeleteHi Rita,
DeleteYou are wondering why I moved to an apartment?
* Serious accident in which my RV was destroyed
* Open heart surgery to replace bad heart valve
* Post operative depression lasting over a year
Also, I had been in declining health because of being
misdiagnosed about that heart valve.
Lot of stuff led up to my decision to stop RVing.

Those were the "glory days" -- now it's the "Glory Days Part Two"

Love our Casita! If you ever seriously consider a small fiberglass trailer, do your research on the advantages of a Casita. You will find joy in whatever your future holds.

DeleteHave you looked at roadtrek? Its kinda a miniature Ms. Dolphin. We've thought and thought about a used roadtrek as a easy to drive bed, bathroom and mini-kitchen.
