Blog

South Shore Park

11:55am:
The Scampy Team is now at the South Shore Park which is next to Sea World. We just finished using the dump station here and filled our fresh water tank.

You may have noticed that we have not been Blogging much lately. The reason for this is that our abortive trip to Mazatl├ín has given us a case of the blues.

We may be in the process of recovering from those blues now.

  1. Hi George.....the blues are understandable. I read all the rules and regulations of going into Mexico...daunting.
    As my post a few days ago..
    I wish I could go with you, tag along, assisted by your ability to speak and understand Spanish. But your change of plans hurts.... it would be odd if it did not.
    I have a feeling your parakeet will cheer you up. Plus you are in an ideal place to spend the winter. Hope you feel better.

  5. How about planning a trip in the good ole USA? Maybe to an area new to you, or somewhere you really enjoyed in the past. Go to the library and AAA for travel info and maps. Search the internet. The planning will be half the fun and the trip will be great for your spirits. Just some thoughts that I'm hoping will encourage you, George. Take good care of yourself!

  6. Hi George;
    I hope you feel better soon. I think that you were a little concerned about baby boid and leaving him for your trip. That misgivings caused you to decide the hassles weren’t worth it. That’s your right and I’m sure B.B. agrees that it’s better to be back with you. There are so many places you and the team can go! You let us share your journey and I’m so grateful for that. I wish you the best and hope you don’t feel that not going into Mexico was a failure, instead, look how much you leaned and shared with all of us.Enjoy the journey.
