Geeks On Tour

7:48 am:
Yesterday I received an email from Chris and Jim Guld known in the RV world as Geeks On Tour.  We first met Chris and Jim in July 2004 [Link].

They invited me to meet them at the FMCA rally being held in
Gillette Wyoming. They asked me to work their booth at the rally.

I've accepted!

1:52 pm:
Waiting For Scampy
We are over at Lake RV waiting for Scampy to moved into the parking lot so that we may begin living in our home again. At long last!

4:30 pm:
We Are Back!
Yes! It is sooooo fantastic to have access once more to all of our stuff! Hotel rooms are good. However, there is no place like home.

As we were hooking up Scampy to Trรกnsito, we saw that the 12-volt power connector had a broken wire. We reconnected that break and then soldered the connection. We were lucky to find an available 120 volt AC outlet on Lake RV's property for our solder gun!

Ripped hinge temporarily reconnected.

Door latch mess to be cleaned up.

    1. Hi TC,

Eye Candy: Visual images that are superficially attractive and entertaining but intellectually undemanding.

      Me?

    4. At the risk of a political Incorrect statement, I believe Ed was making a reference to the "Eye Candy" definition that you provided and the old sexist reference to "dumb blondes."

    1. Hi Mark,

Yes! Orville the fiberglass guy and one of the owners at Lake RV appears to me to be not only excellent with fiberglass but a wonderful mechanic too! ๐Ÿ˜Ž

After Orville completed the job, Scampy's door operated so much better. The latch works without having to slam the door closed!

      I love that!
