Did the Dishes !

8:50 am:
This morning for the very first time, I was able to "Do the Dishes".

There are no leaks! I used my jump-start battery for 12-volt DC power. And a Home Depot orange 5-gallon bucket under the sink drain to contain the grey water.

Being able to "Do the Dishes" means cooking in Box Van's kitchen!

Big time change for me!

These dishes have been washed!

This morning's breakfast.
French toast with maple syrup, ham, scrambled eggs and Swiss Miss chocolate.

9:56 am:
I need to buy more lumber. A few sections of the wall are only partially framed and need completion.

One of those uncompleted walls will be the mounting location of the electrical equipment that I Blogged to you about yesterday.

That equipment is:
➜ Renogy solar battery charge controller.
➜ West Marine illuminated switch panel/circuit breaker.
➜ Jupiter 2000 watt inverter [I will never use this inverter at anywhere near 2000 watts].

10:18 am:
The West Marine illuminated switch panel/circuit breaker will be the distribution point for any appliance using electric power [ie: Nova Kool refrigerator, lights, water pump, etc.]

The load side of the distribution wiring will run from the circuit breaker to the area up above the ceiling of my living quarters. Then down thru the wall frame to junction boxes.

I have not yet figured out about the hook-up of the negative side of the 12-volt DC power. I am thinking about grounding the junction boxes.

    1. Ed,

12 volts good. 120 volts bad.

I am going to try hard to keep that in mind! 😎

    1. Char,

I stopped the installation of a large water heater because I do not use much hot water. I only need hot water to do my dishes.

But I have a tiny water heater coming.

Thank you for letting me know that you love my counter top! 😎

I have one more counter top on-the-way. Same color. But for the small base cabinet at the foot of my bed.
