It takes a lot of my thinking about where to locate stuff before I make a decision. I Blogged to you about some equipment last Sunday. Here is where I've decided that equipment will be mounted:
➜ Renogy solar battery charge controller.
On the living quarters wall above my bed where it may easily be seen.
➜ West Marine illuminated switch panel/circuit breaker.

On the same wall as above but on the workshop side.
➜ Jupiter 2000 watt inverter.

On the floor of the over-cab cabinet.

I'm at the Apple store in La Jolla California. The internal speakers are not working and I am here for that.
As I approached the store's entrance and observed the Apple with a bite out of it logo, it occurred to me that only 43-years ago, two guys with hardly any money started this company.

My Mac has been checked out. Apple has determined that the same board that was replaced during the prior repair appears to be bad now.
Apple has ordered that board and I will return when the board installation is ready to be done.
That installation will take several days. How I will do blogging and other computer-related tasks while Apple has my computer is not certain!

Use your iPhone.

Bill,
DeleteI have used my iPhone to Blog before. What a pain in the ass!
The screen is far to small to be able to select letters for changing [ie: Bold, color, etc].
To get around using iPhone requires me to remember the URL that I want to go to.
Like I said, pain!

I think Apple should provide a loaner while yours is in their shop.
ReplyDeleteLou,
DeleteIn a way, Apple did provide a new computer during the first time my Mac was in the shop.
I returned that new Mac when I picked up my repaired Mac.
In retrospect, I should have kept that new Mac for another week. But I did not know that my Mac would go bad so quickly!

Maybe instead of typing out a blog you could simply post pics of whats going on if that isnt a hassle through the phone. I cant imagine typing up an entire post... I get angry trying to type up a simple email with my work phone.
ReplyDeleteAndrew,
DeleteI may just stop Blogging while my Mac is in Apple's repair shop.
