Kicking Back

9:25 am:
I am at  Mission trails park at Lake Murray.

Last night I camped on a street that was severely out of level side to side. Sleeping like that puts a strain on my lower back. During the nite when I went to get out of bed the pain on my tail bone was terrible!

At around 6am, I decided to go to Lake Murray and found a campsite was level and sooooo quiet. I slept like a rock for over three hours!

My tail bone feels so much better now.

6:59 pm:
I've picked up my Mac at Apple in La Jolla. They finished the repair in only one day!! Yaayyy Apple!

Looks like that I will Nite Camp out in the Clairmont Mesa area.

  1. I seems like you could shim the bed easily to accommodate where ever you are.

    1. Phil,

It might seem that shimming might be a solution.

However, I believe that only the use of leveling jacks like the ones that I bought will do the job.

  2. Hi George,
Interested to see how your leveling jack installation goes. Will they be bolted on or will you get them welded. (perhaps that same fellow who set up your propane tank)

    1. Hi Jack,

You are right about Santee Welding. That is the same shop who installed my propane tank. And I plan to use Santee Welding for the leveling jacks too.

I have not tested my plan to wire-up the jacks so that I may control them from inside Box Van.

My plan is to remove the up/down switch of each jack and re-mount the switches inside Box Van.
